William Hill King George VI Chase Grade 1 (CLASS 1) (4yo+) - - - - 26/12/11
This race has been run since 1937 and has been won by all the greats including Mill House, Arkle, Pendil,Captain Christy,Burrough Hill Lad,Desert Orchid, One Man, See More Business, Best Mate and Kicking King and also last years winner Long Run and four times winner Kauto Star the list just goes on and on.
This years race looks a really good renewal with lots of questions to be answered today.

BETFRED BECHER HANDICAP CHASE (LISTED RACE) (CLASS 1) - - - - 03-12/11
Not the greatest renewal of the race this year but the race is very competitive. Last years winner Hello Bud is attempting to emulate Into the Red and become the second dual winner and still looks enthusiastic in his runs and could go well but at 13 going on 14 looks to have much on his plate here.
Another Palm has been very well supported in the market and is sure to go well as well supported Irish raiders should not be ignored.

Hennessy Gold Cup Chase (Handicap) Grade 3 (CLASS 1) - - - -26/11/11
This year's
The Hennessy Gold Cup looks as good as in past years. This is a race is an early season target for young horses on the way to better things. Won in the past twice by Gold Cup winner Denman and also Burrough Hill Lad. Many good horses have won this with the likes of Suny Bay, One Man and more recently Teeton Mill.

Looks to be a great race this year with Petit Robin fron the in form stable of Nicky Henderson taking on Paul Nicholls Twist Magic but is this a two horse race? We think not.

Sea The Stars, The wonder horse of the year so far looks to be a worthy contender for this title and a win today would secure that. With 8 runners this year, none of which are previous English classic winners we could be in for a good contest this year.
With Godolphin entering two smart horses Kite Wood and Mastery and Aiden O' Brian entering Changingoftheguard and taking no chanced by also entering a pacemaker. We should have a well run race.

King George Day 25/07/09
Ascot racecourse is home to The King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes on Saturday July 25th
This race is Britain's most prestigious open-age flat race, and is as well a contested by good horses and has been a good betting race for the punters with favorite winning the last five years. It is fair to say that although it does not throw up surprises however good horses win the race and usually go on from the race to win more good prizes.
With nine good horses in the line up this year and the smart Conduit at the head of the market this year we should again see a first class race.
